Number III - LAST WARNING

III Chapter
(The Third Notebook, October 2002)

LAST WARNING

FOREWORD

I am aware that every word in this notebook, third from the beginning, which I publish following the strict God’s commandment, in the minds of many will sound like a hard word, but I can not and must not keep silent about what I saw and heard; as Jeremiah the prophet said: »O Lord, You induced me, and I was persuaded; You are stronger than I, and have prevailed. I am in derision daily; everyone mocks me. For when I spoke, I cried out; I shouted, 'Violence and plunder!' Because the word of the Lord was made to me a reproach and a derision daily. Then I said, 'I will not make mention of Him, nor speak anymore in His name.' But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.«

In the evening of 21 October 2002 the Holy God’s Spirit came upon me and let me know that I must not hesitate to reveal to the public revelations that had been given to me, so as to make on time this last warning that the heaven is sending to you.

On the 17th October this year (2002) the Lord has shown to me that to those in this area, who had had the priority to be first during this time to accept the light, only a month had been left to accept the warnings and appeals for the total and sincere repentance, and that there will be no other time of mercy for them. It was shown to me that during November God Himself shall rise, as He did in the old times, in order to defend honour of His holy name, and that the events, which will begin in the period, will clearly show and confirm that the right to govern the Christian Church of Adventists of the Seventh day had been taken away from the people, who despised and rejected all the warnings and appeals that the heaven had been sending to them, and that it was given to the ordinary people, through whose work the God is going to complete His work in this world.

A special warning has been sent just to those people, who stand contrary to this work for a long period already and with their inimical activities they blaspheme and dispraise the sanctity of the holy name of God, which they took for themselves. In the night visions, which content I reveal in this writing, the plans were shown to me that they made at their secret gatherings, while in front of the people they tried to make an impression of being religious by seemingly faithfully doing their duties. The Lord says: »Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, and say 'Who sees us?', and, 'Who knows us?'« (Is. 29,15). The anger that lays on them is huge, as well as on all those who call themselves “His people”, but do not live following the truth that has been given to them. God is merciful, but just at the same time, and soon shall feel the strength of His judgements those who will not obey to this voice of warning.

It is my duty to stress once more that after this warning there will not be another one and that many, who would not answer this appeal, will receive equal to their doings in the coming days. The time is very near when the following words will be fulfilled: »Then He called out in my hearing with a loud voice, saying, "Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in his hand." And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer's inkhorn at his side; and the Lord said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it." To the others He said in my hearing, "Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity. Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary." So they began with the elders who were before the temple.« (Ezekiel 9,1.3-6)
I call upon all those, to whom these words apply, to accept it without delay, till there is still time left for that, because the door of mercy is closing slowly.

»For more than a thousand years the Jewish nation had abused God's mercy and invited His judgments. They had rejected His warnings and slain His prophets. For these sins the people of Christ's day made themselves responsible by following the same course. In the rejection of their present mercies and warnings lay the guilt of that generation. The fetters which the nation had for centuries been forging, the people of Christ's day were fastening upon themselves. In every age there is given to men their day of light and privilege, a probationary time in which they may become reconciled to God. But there is a limit to this grace. Mercy may plead for years and be slighted and rejected; but there comes a time when mercy makes her last plea. The heart becomes so hardened that it ceases to respond to the Spirit of God. Then the sweet, winning voice entreats the sinner no longer, and reproofs and warnings cease.

The Jewish nation was a symbol of the people of all ages who scorn the pleadings of Infinite Love. The tears of Christ when He wept over Jerusalem were for the sins of all time. In the judgments pronounced upon Israel, those who reject the reproofs and warnings of God's Holy Spirit, may read their own condemnation.
In this generation there are many who are treading on the same ground as were the unbelieving Jews. They have witnessed the manifestation of the power of God; the Holy Spirit has spoken to their hearts; but they cling to their unbelief and resistance. God sends them warnings and reproof, but they are not willing to confess their errors, and they reject His message and His messenger. The very means He uses for their recovery becomes to them a stone of stumbling.

The prophets of God were hated by apostate Israel because through them their hidden sins were brought to light. Ahab regarded Elijah as his enemy because the prophet was faithful to rebuke the king's secret iniquities. So today the servant of Christ, the reprover of sin, meets with scorn and rebuffs. Bible truth, the religion of Christ, struggles against a strong current of moral impurity. Prejudice is even stronger in the hearts of men now than in Christ's day. Christ did not fulfill men's expectations; His life was a rebuke to their sins, and they rejected Him. So now the truth of God's word does not harmonize with men's practices and their natural inclination, and thousands reject its light. Men prompted by Satan cast doubt upon God's word, and choose to exercise their independent judgment. They choose darkness rather than light, but they do it at the peril of their souls. Those who caviled at the words of Christ, found ever-increased cause for cavil, until they turned from the Truth and the Life. So it is now. God does not propose to remove every objection which the carnal heart may bring against His truth. To those who refuse the precious rays of light which would illuminate the darkness, the mysteries of God's word remain such forever. From them the truth is hidden. They walk blindly, and know not the ruin before them.

Christ overlooked the world and all ages from the height of Olivet; and His words are applicable to every soul who slights the pleadings of divine mercy. Scorner of His love, He addresses you today. It is "thou, even thou," who shouldest know the things that belong to thy peace. Christ is shedding bitter tears for you, who have no tears to shed for yourself. Already that fatal hardness of heart which destroyed the Pharisees is manifest in you. And every evidence of the grace of God, every ray of divine light, is either melting and subduing the soul, or confirming it in hopeless impenitence.« (DA 584 – 588 )

THE STATE OF THE CHURCH

The word, that comes from the Lord: »Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah who enter in at these gates to worship the Lord! Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: "Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. "Do not trust in these lying words, saying, 'The temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord are these. For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings...

Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit. Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say, 'We are delivered to do all these abominations'? Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it," says the Lord. And now, because you have done all these works," says the Lord, "and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you did not hear, and I called you, but you did not answer, therefore I will do to this house which is called by My name, in which you trust, and to this place which I gave to you and your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.«

In a night vision on the 27th June 2002 I saw the state of our people today. I found myself in one of the praying houses, which represented the type of Adventist Church of the Seventh day around the world. As unvisible watcher, I sat in one of the last rows of the seats in the hall of this local church and watched everything that happened in front of my eyes, while the words of a completely mundane song echoed through the half-empty hall; the song was part of the regular service. In  an inspiration it was shown to me that the participants were aware that either the song or the words, which should have been devoted to the Holy and Almighty God, were totally inappropriate, but yet there was nobody there to raise a voice and stop the performance of that shameful doing. Instead of that, they tried to harmonize their voices and to create a false impression of security and peace.

The Lord showed to me with that symbolic picture the state of the predominant part of those who call themselves the God’s people. There are many among us who see that their religious life is, actually, only an empty and lifeless form, and that the earthly sweetness of sin governs their beings, but, nevertheless, they show no readiness to humble their hearts in a sincere confession and repentance. A man, who disguises into a false religiousness in this way, might cheat someone with that, but the One who sees everything says: “I know your works”.

»Christ's act in cursing the tree which His own power had created stands as a warning to all churches and to all Christians. No one can live the law of God without ministering to others. But there are many who do not live out Christ's merciful, unselfish life. Some who think themselves excellent Christians do not understand what constitutes service for God. They plan and study to please themselves. They act only in reference to self. Time is of value to them only as they can gather for themselves. In all the affairs of life this is their object. Not for others but for themselves do they minister. God created them to live in a world where unselfish service must be performed. He designed them to help their fellow men in every possible way. But self is so large that they cannot see anything else. They are not in touch with humanity. Those who thus live for self are like the fig tree, which made every pretension but was fruitless. They observe the forms of worship, but without repentance or faith. In profession they honor the law of God, but obedience is lacking. They say, but do not. In the sentence pronounced on the fig tree Christ demonstrates how hateful in His eyes is this vain pretense. He declares that the open sinner is less guilty than is he who professes to serve God, but who bears no fruit to His glory.« (DA 584)

Big is the God's anger upon us today, and terrible the judgements, which soon will fall upon every one who misses to answer the last calls for mercy. The mighty light of the truth, which the Adventists of the Seventh day have received in order to forward it to all the inabitants of the earth, stands in those last days like a sword of judgement upon them, because the light is being trampled down and despised, while many a son and daughter of God die without a chance to get to know the One who gave His life for them.

»A refusal to heed the invitation of mercy that God was now offering would bring upon the impenitent nation the judgments that had befallen the northern kingdom of Israel over a century before. The message to them now was: "If ye will not hearken to Me, to walk in My law, which I have set before you, to hearken to the words of My servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not hearkened; then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth." Jeremiah 26:4-6.

Those who stood in the temple court listening to Jeremiah's discourse understood clearly this reference to Shiloh, and to the time in the days of Eli when the Philistines had overcome Israel and carried away the ark of the testament.

The sin of Eli had consisted in passing lightly over the iniquity of his sons in sacred office, and over the evils prevailing throughout the land. His neglect to correct these evils had brought upon Israel a fearful calamity. His sons had fallen in battle, Eli himself had lost his life, the ark of God had been taken from the land of Israel, thirty thousand of the people had been slain--and all because sin had been allowed to flourish unrebuked and unchecked. Israel had vainly thought that, notwithstanding their sinful practices, the presence of the ark would ensure them victory over the Philistines. In like manner, during the days of Jeremiah, the inhabitants of Judah were prone to believe that a strict observance of the divinely appointed services of the temple would preserve them from a just punishment for their wicked course.

What a lesson is this to men holding positions of responsibility today in the church of God! What a solemn warning to deal faithfully with wrongs that bring dishonour to the cause of truth! Let none who claim to be the depositaries of God's law flatter themselves that the regard they may outwardly show toward the commandments will preserve them from the exercise of divine justice. Let none refuse to be reproved for evil, nor charge the servants of God with being too zealous in endeavouring to cleanse the camp from evil-doing. A sin-hating God calls upon those who claim to keep His law to depart from all iniquity. A neglect to repent and to render willing obedience will bring upon men and women today as serious consequences as came upon ancient Israel. There is a limit beyond which the judgments of Jehovah can no longer be delayed. The desolation of Jerusalem in the days of Jeremiah is a solemn warning to modern Israel, that the counsels and admonitions given them through chosen instrumentalities cannot be disregarded with impunity.« (PK 416 – 417)

»UNLESS YOU, PEOPLE, SEE SIGNS AND WONDERS«

During the last few days (this part of the testimony was written on 22nd July), when the Holy Spirit gave me the review of the past events and of those, which will happen in the nearest future, and when it was pointed out to me to a great need to show to the God's people – first of all to those, who are from this area – to show them once more all the seriousness of that what will mark and seal in a special way the history of the Adventists of the Seventh day, who is the last people, raised by God.

As I already have predicted by the God's word and written down in the testimony, which I published in March this year under the title »An Appeal to the Church«, God Himself will soon approove of this work and show that everything that had been happening during the work of this reforming movement was a reflection of His, and only His will.

»In the words spoken to the woman at the well, good seed had been sown, and how quickly the harvest was received. The Samaritans came and heard Jesus, and believed on Him.

The Pharisees despised the simplicity of Jesus. They ignored His miracles, and demanded a sign that He was the Son of God. But the Samaritans asked no sign, and Jesus performed no miracles among them, save in revealing the secrets of her life to the woman at the well. Yet many received Him. In their new joy they said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard Him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world."«

»The news of Christ's return to Cana soon spread throughout Galilee, bringing hope to the suffering and distressed. In Capernaum the tidings attracted the attention of a Jewish nobleman who was an officer in the king's service. A son of the officer was suffering from what seemed to be an incurable disease. Physicians had given him up to die; but when the father heard of Jesus, he determined to seek help from Him.

On reaching Cana he found a throng surrounding Jesus. With an anxious heart he pressed through to the Saviour's presence. His faith faltered when he saw only a plainly dressed man, dusty and worn with travel. He doubted that this Person could do what he had come to ask of Him; yet he secured an interview with Jesus, told his errand, and besought the Saviour to accompany him to his home. But already his sorrow was known to Jesus. Before the officer had left his home, the Saviour had beheld his affliction.

But He knew also that the father had, in his own mind, made conditions concerning his belief in Jesus. Unless his petition should be granted, he would not receive Him as the Messiah. While the officer waited in an agony of suspense, Jesus said, "Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe."( John 4, 48 )

Notwithstanding all the evidence that Jesus was the Christ, the petitioner had determined to make his belief in Him conditional on the granting of his own request. The Saviour contrasted this questioning unbelief with the simple faith of the Samaritans, who asked for no miracle or sign. His word, the ever-present evidence of His divinity, had a convincing power that reached their hearts. Christ was pained that His own people, to whom the Sacred Oracles had been committed, should fail to hear the voice of God speaking to them in His Son.« (DA. 192.193.196 -198)

It is stated in the Holy Scriptures that before and above everything there is - the Word. »In the biginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.« (John 1, 1.14.) Once, when He spoke to many of His vain and false followers, who gathered around Him, He spoke of Himself as of the bread of life, and at the end of the His preach He said: »It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are Life.« (John 6, 63)  Jesus confirmed this rule during all His service on this earth. »It was written« and »That is what the Lord says« He used to say. When Satan asked Christ at the end of the temptation in the desert to make a miracle or give a sign so as to confirm His messianic role, Jesus replied: »... Away with me, Satan! For it is written...« and »then the devil left him...« (Matthew 4, 10.11) The Word of God was the only law of His life and the strongest confirmation of His mission.

»And there was much murmuring among the people concerning Him. Some said, "He is good"; others said, "No, on the contrary, He deceives the people." However, no one spoke openly of Him for fear of the Jews. Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught. I And the Jews marveled, saying, "How does this Man know letters, having never studied?" Jesus answered them and said, "My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone wants to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.« (John 7, 12 – 18)

»On the first day of His presence at the feast, the rulers had come to Him, demanding by what authority He taught. They wished to divert attention from Him to the question of His right to teach, and thus to their own importance and authority.

"My teaching is not Mine," said Jesus, "but His that sent Me. If any man willeth to do His will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it be of God, or whether I speak from Myself." John 7:16, 17, R. V. The question of these cavilers Jesus met, not by answering the cavil, but by opening up truth vital to the salvation of the soul. The perception and appreciation of truth, He said, depends less upon the mind than upon the heart. Truth must be received into the soul; it claims the homage of the will. If truth could be submitted to the reason alone, pride would be no hindrance in the way of its reception. But it is to be received through the work of grace in the heart; and its reception depends upon the renunciation of every sin that the Spirit of God reveals. Man's advantages for obtaining a knowledge of the truth, however great these may be, will prove of no benefit to him unless the heart is open to receive the truth, and there is a conscientious surrender of every habit and practice that is opposed to its principles. To those who thus yield themselves to God, having an honest desire to know and to do His will, the truth is revealed as the power of God for their salvation. These will be able to distinguish between him who speaks for God, and him who speaks merely from himself. The Pharisees had not put their will on the side of God's will. They were not seeking to know the truth, but to find some excuse for evading it; Christ showed that this was why they did not understand His teaching.

He now gave a test by which the true teacher might be distinguished from the deceiver: "He that speaketh from himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh the glory of Him that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him." John 7:18, R. V. He that seeketh his own glory is speaking only from himself. The spirit of self-seeking betrays its origin. But Christ was seeking the glory of God. He spoke the words of God. This was the evidence of His authority as a teacher of the truth.« (DA 455. 456.)

Many have told me: “If really God have raised you, why does not He treat you like the apostles? Do you really believe that by spreading those writings you will cause the awakening? Any way, we have the Holy Bible and Ellen White and we need no more. »We are rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing«, they say, and the Lord answers to them: »You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.« »My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.« (Matthew 22,29; Hosea 4, 6) In every movement that have come from God the basis was His Word, and as such, it was only reconfirmed later »through the accomapnying signs« (Mark 16, 20). So will be today too. It is God's will that His people, who says they know everything, they are rich and they do not need anything, that they will be tested with the Word, but it is true that it will be confirmed with signs too. But not the biggest miracle would help those who can not recognise the word of the God's inspiration, as has said the Lord: »If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.« (Luke 16, 31)

The Spirit of prophecy says: »There is to be in the churches a wonderful manifestation of the power of God, but it will not move upon those who have not humbled themselves before the Lord, and opened the door of the heart by confession and repentance. In the manifestation of that power which lightens the earth with the glory of God, they will see only something which in their blindness they think dangerous, something which will arouse their fears, and they will brace themselves to resist it. Because the Lord does not work according to their ideas and expectations, they will oppose the work. "Why," they say, "should not we know the Spirit of God, when we have been in the work so many years?"« »For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.« (RH Extra 23. dec. 1890; Isaiah 55, 8.9.)

In one of my earlier testimoines I have said that the exit of the Israel people from Egypt is a symbol of the exit of the God’s people from the contemporary world order and that the spiritual Israel will be led on his way to the heavenly Canaan in the same way as the physical Israel was led by the Spirit of prophecy. This means that in this last part there will be no more “kingly power” or any other kind of human system of governing, but the God Himself will, like once before, lead His people by the revelations of His Spirit. When the Israel, in imitation of the earthly nations with which they often have tied with the ties of ungodliness, dared to ask for the form of ruling that was in general use at the time, the Lord clearly expressed His disapproval: »I gave you a king in My anger, and took him away in My wrath.« ( Hosea 13, 11). As I have already published, the General Conference of the Adventists of the Seventh day, which up till recently had a legitimate right to govern the Church, had been self-willed and made discrepancies from the clearly expressed God's commandments, so that it was »spit out« as it was forseen in the message of Laodicea. Since these days up till His second arrival the right to govern will belong only to our Lord, Jesus Christ, who will express His will through the consecrated human tools, whose service and authority will be confirmed in front of all the people. The revelations of the God's power and glory, which had been shown at that time, are also a pre-picture of this what will happen today.

The work of the reform, which had happened during the time of the Apostolic church, represents another type of the event, which soon will be happening among the Adventist people, and this is what will make this last movement a unique event in the history of the church and humankind. What is important to know and what I must stress is that the beginning of manifesting the God's will in signs and miracles, by which this work will be undoubtedly confirmed, at the same time it will be the beginning of pouring of His judgements and punishments on those, who openly opposed and refused, although they had all necessary testimonies that it was of the divine origin.

»Then came upon me the God's word saying: son of a man, thus the Lord of the Lord says about the land of Israel: the end, the end comes to the four sides of the country. Here comes your end, and I shall let my anger upon you, and I shall judge you by your ways and I shall turn against you all your adders. And my eye shall not have pity on you, nor I shall have mercy on you, but i shall turn your ways against you and your adders will be in the midst of you, and you shall realise that I am the God.

»Again the God's word came upon me, saying: son of a man, what is that talk in your place about the country of Israel that you say: the days are passing by and there is nothing of a phantom? Therefore you tell them thus speaks the Lord of the Lord: I shall cancel that talk and I shall not tell it in Israel; therefore you tell them: the days are close and the word of every phantom. For there will neither be in the home of Israel a useless phantom nor whichcraft that flatters. For I, the God, shall speak, and what I say will be; there will be no delay, but during your time, the home rebellious, I shall say the word and I shall do it, says the Lord of the Lord.

»He (Jesus Christ) told to His listeners that every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven if they were done in ignorance. In their big blindness, people can utter words that represent an insult or shame for the Son of Man, but still not to step over the limits of mercy. But when the God's Spirit and His power lie on His messengers, they are in a holy place. Those who ignore the testimony of the God's Spirit, ascribing it to the spirit of devil, put themselves in a position where God can not reach to their souls any more, since He has not provided any such a mediator, who might correct the misbelieves, which such people might have...

Speaking against Christ, ascribing His work to Satan's power and calling the emanation of God's Spirit – fanatism – it is not only blasphemy, but a spirit which makes people to put themselves by such statements into a position of stubborn opposition, so that they do not see the spiritual light any more...

They think that they govern themselves by the common sense, but they really follow another leader. They put themselves under control of a power that they are even not aware of. In that way they resist the Spirit Almighty, who alone could lead them, enlighten and save. They carry on on the path of sin, for which there is no forgiveness neither in this nor in the future life; and not only because they used up the God's mercy with the degree of their misdeed, but also because their pride and stubbornness made them condemn the voice of the God's Spirit and get into a position where He can not convince them about their delusion. They are not ready to subdue their stubborn will to the Holy Spirit.

In our days people bring themselves into a position, which makes them incapable of fulfilling the conditions of repentment and conversion, therefore they can not find mercy and forgiveness. The blasphemy on the Holy Spirit does not lay in a sudden and unexpectable word or gesture, but in constant and decisive opposition to the truth and given evidence. (MS 30, 1890).

I appeal to every reader of these lines, but first of all to those, to whom are directed the words of this warning, to accept it and hold in their hearts in order to feel good. I pray that we, who call ourselves the God's people, open the doors of our hearts to our Saviour, who had been crucified for our sins, and not to be His only by our name, but by the cognition too; because the »Eternal life is to know Him« (John, 17, 3). Let us get to know Him, for it is a cry of His Paternal heart.

»O JERUSALEM, JERUSALEM...«

Chronics about the events, which have marked in a special way the history of the God's chosen people, undoubtedly shows that during all the times only a small number of those really belonged to Him and lived in a unity with Him. The prophet Isaiah said: »Unless the Lord of hosts had left to us a very small remnant, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah.« (Isaiah 1, 9) Such a state of people had its cause in frequent rebellion of those, who should have stood in the first line like the God’s representatives, and show an example of real religiousness. To the contrary, they badly influenced with their lack of faith and backsliding the people, who imitated them and often had been worse than the non-religious and idolatric people who surrounded them. It was said about Manasseh who:  »...seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to do more evel than the nations whom the Lord had destroyed before the children of Israel.« (2. Chronicles 33, 9)

So it was sometimes ago, but so it is today too. In the message to the Laodicean church the Lord clearly says that among us there is terrible rebellion and that we are the worse people in the world because we did not let the great light to revive our hearts, and that because of that we are the worst people in the world in His eyes. The message is as follows: »I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.« When a man does not allow the truth, which he accepted with his mind, or even with his experience, to exert its consacreted influence into him with its divine action, he undoubtedly must fall under the even stronger domination of the demonic powers. This instruction is clearly written in the Holy Bible. »When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.« (Matthew 12, 43 – 45)

In the history of the Old Testament, as well as in the New, there are numerous examples of the people who, although lighted with great light and honoured with high positions and privileges, refused to subdue to the God's commandments and in that way they became the tools of Satan to stop the activity of those, who devoted themselves with all their heart and soul to the prosperity of the God's work.

The story of the Izrael's king Saul, who in his rebellion went so far that he did not even hide his criminal intention to try to kill a man who was »close to God's heart« - that is only one of many such stories. The same was going on during the time of the public service of Jesus. »The Pharisees built the tombs of the prophets, and adorned their sepulchers, and said one to another, If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have united with them in shedding the blood of God's servants. At the same time they were planning to take the life of His Son. This should be a lesson to us. It should open our eyes to the power of Satan to deceive the mind that turns from the light of truth. Many follow in the track of the Pharisees. They revere those who have died for their faith. They wonder at the blindness of the Jews in rejecting Christ. Had we lived in His day, they declare, we would gladly have received His teaching; we would never have been partakers in the guilt of those who rejected the Saviour. But when obedience to God requires self-denial and humiliation, these very persons stifle their convictions, and refuse obedience. Thus they manifest the same spirit as did the Pharisees whom Christ condemned.

Little did the Jews realize the terrible responsibility involved in rejecting Christ. From the time when the first innocent blood was shed, when righteous Abel fell by the hand of Cain, the same history had been repeated, with increasing guilt. In every age prophets had lifted up their voices against the sins of kings, rulers, and people, speaking the words which God gave them, and obeying His will at the peril of their lives. From generation to generation there had been heaping up a terrible punishment for the rejecters of light and truth. This the enemies of Christ were now drawing down upon their own heads. The sin of the priests and rulers was greater than that of any preceding generation. By their rejection of the Saviour, they were making themselves responsible for the blood of all the righteous men slain from Abel to Christ. They were about to fill to overflowing their cup of iniquity. And soon it was to be poured upon their heads in retributive justice. Of this, Jesus warned them: "That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation."

With hand uplifted to heaven, and a divine light enshrouding His person, Christ spoke as a judge to those before Him. His voice, that had so often been heard in gentleness and entreaty, was now heard in rebuke and condemnation. The listeners shuddered. Never was the impression made by His words and His look to be effaced.

Christ's indignation was directed against the hypocrisy, the gross sins, by which men were destroying their own souls, deceiving the people and dishonoring God. In the specious deceptive reasoning of the priests and rulers He discerned the working of satanic agencies.« (DA 619-620)

During my work on the awakening and reformation of the Adventist people up till today, God has revealed to me the intentions of  the individual members of the leadership of the local Union, as well as the plans of a group of people from the General Conference of the Christian Adventist Church. Not long after the rejection of testimonies, which I published in August 2001 and gave to the leaders of the South-East Europian Union, in a night vision a meeting of several of those leaders was shown to me. After several futile attempts, mainly by psychological methods, to stop this work, at the meeting a decision had been taken to use the same methods that in the previous times killed the many.

In the vision, that I saw in the night between 25th and 26th February 2002, the two of the men from the meeting were shown to me. While I watched them coming out of the room, where the meeting had been held, the Holy Spirit had come upon me and in an inspiration showed to me the decision that had been taken at the occasion. Several months prior to that, the Lord had shown to me that such time will soon come and, according to that, He drew me into such conditions, where He protected me from the reach of all those, who tried by all means to find out the exact place of my abode. In many occasions it was shown to me that God took care and protected me, so that I could have with dignity and peacfully done the service He had called me to do.

Because of the needs of my work, I have noted down my e-mail address and the number of my mobile-phone in my writings, so that they were the only connection between me and the others, with whom I had relations according to my task. That was the way they tried to reach me. In the night vision, which I had received on 8th March 2002, two men were shown to me, seated with earphones on their heads in front of a big screen with instruments and followed with their eyes the arrow of an instrument, which spies and finds locations. Anxiety and a wish to find out the data as soon as possilbe was seen in their behaviour.

In the next night announcement, which I received on 5th June 2002, an attempt of a mean and criminal intention was shown to me. It was going to happen very soon after God Himself would put a seal on His work, as He had been doing in the old times. In the symbolic picture I found myself on a trail of an old lorry and I threw out the rubbish, which was there, with decisive movements of a broom in my hands. After a while the lorry-driver appeared – a middle-aged man – who commanded to me with anger and great authority to stop the work, which I resolutly refused to obey. Outraged, he left the scene, but soon he came back with a big dagger in his hand. When he raised his hand in order to hit the knife, I realised that I was in a completely helpless position. In the moment the lethal weapon flew towards me – the vision ceased.

In another vision, that followed the previous one, like an invisible watcher I was present to the investigation, led by several people. One of the men present there said that the man, who was hired for that doing, never missed his target before and that I stayed unharmed only by a miracle. After that I was present at a conversation of two policemen with a wittness of the event, who said, among others, those words: »But faith, faith saved him«.

With this picture, which is symbolic in a greater part, God showed that He was going to let such an event happen in a certain moment in order to let the light of the truth reach to many and the meanness of those, who do evil from a shaddow, would get discovered. The old lorry, on which I stood, represents the Church as it looks like now, and the immense quantity of rubbish, which covered the trail – the sins and rebellion which governs there. The driver, from whose lorry I had been cleaning the rubbish, represents a big part of the backslidden leadreship, who will command to carry the crime in the moment when it would be clear that God called ordinary people for the reform, which was shown in a simbol as an action of cleaning the garbage.

The contents of those revelations I reveal for the benefit of everybody, who really wants to serve God without seeking the leadership of those, who do not serve Him with all their heart and soul. The Lord says: »Cursed is the man who thrusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord«, because »there is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death«. (Jeremiah 17,5; Proverbs 14,12)

»AND IN THE DAYS OF THESE KINGS THE GOD OF HEAVEN WILL
SET UP A KINGDOM...«

On the 1 October 2002 it was shown to me that, in spite of the attept of the powers of darkness to stop the progress of the God's cause, it will continue to spread around with a great speed right to the day when Christ will appear in His heavenly glory.

In a night vision, which represented the review of the whole work, I was in a car, which had been driven by a man, whose profession was a stone-cutter. During the drive I saw in front of us only one other car, which seemed to have driven to the same place. When I drove my attention to that vehicle, I became aware that we must pass by it if we wanted to complete our task. But, in spite of my strong wish to pass by the car as soon as possible, we had no success with that.

In a moment he speeded up and the distance between us got bigger. Exactly in the moment when the situation looked hopeless, the »Stone-cutter« powerfully speeded up, and with a decisive, confident move, with a great speed, that escalated every moment, passed by the vehicle, which was in front of us. When I turned around, I saw that the other car swayed from the road and finished its voyage for ever. In the meantime, the speed with which we moved straight towards our aim was so big, that we started taking off of the road and moving towards the sky, that was lit with great light.

In the morning, when I prayed for the explanation of this dream, it was put to my knowledge that the car I had been driven in represented the God's »remnant« of the latter time. The other car represented the Church of all Adventists of the Seventh Day, who will, together with a great number of the leading brothers, refuse all the calls, that God sends them today, and so sway from the only real way for the heavenly Canaan. The »Stone-cutter«, who sat at the driving wheel of the car in which I was driven, was an image of the One, who carved on the stone tablets His holy commandments three thousand and five hundred years ago.
With this vision the Lord has shown to me once again that His work in this world will soon be finished, and that everyone, who hesitates to use this short time of mercy that is left to us – will be lost forever. So, »today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts...«

»God has always given men warning of coming judgments. Those who had faith in His message for their time, and who acted out their faith, in obedience to His commandments, escaped the judgments that fell upon the disobedient and unbelieving.

The word came to Noah, "Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before Me." Noah obeyed and was saved. The message came to Lot, "Up, get you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city." Gen. 7:1; 19:14. Lot placed himself under the guardianship of the heavenly messengers, and was saved. So Christ's disciples were given warning of the destruction of Jerusalem. Those who watched for the sign of the coming ruin, and fled from the city, escaped the destruction. So now we are given warning of Christ's second coming and of the destruction to fall upon the world. Those who heed the warning will be saved.«  (9T 97; DA 634.)

Number II - AN APPEAL TO THE CHURCH

II Chapter
(The Second Notebook, March 2002)

AN APPEAL TO THE CHURCH

FOREWORD

As it was the case with the first notebook of the testimony, which was published under the title »Prepare to meet your God, o Israel«, this one also comes to being as a result of an answer to the appeal to reveal to the God’s people the revelations which had been given to me, so as to awake them from the spiritual lethargy that might drag them into an endless abyss. The Lord has shown to me that He will not postpone His arrival any more and that the testimonies of His Spirit, which are now being revealed, represent the last appeal for an awakening and reformation of every church of the Seventh day Adventists, from the General Conference to our smallest local church in the world.

What I shall point out in this part is that the work of the awakening and reformation, which had started with the work of John the Baptist, and then rounded with the testimony of the Apostle’s Church, is a model of the reform which will be led today in the midst of the God’s people. God appeals to the Adventist people to awake the real godliness and baptize with water again, but also baptize with the Holy Spirit, which will be given to us for the rounding off the holy work, which had been trusted to us.

Let the dear Lord enlighten the mind of His people and open their eyes to let them know the time of the visit and readily meet their Saviour when He comes like a King of kings and Lord of lords. The God’s commandment for this time is:  »Prepare to meet your God, O Israel... for the day of the Lord is coming, for it is at hand.« (Amos 4,12; Joel 2,1.)

»But as the church approaches her final deliverance, Satan is to work with greater power. He comes down "having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." Revelation 12:12. For six thousand years that mastermind that once was highest among the angels of God has been wholly bent to the work of deception and ruin. And all the depths of satanic skill and subtlety acquired, all the cruelty developed, during these struggles of the ages, will be brought to bear against God's people in the final conflict. And in this time of peril the followers of Christ are to bear to the world the warning of the Lord's second advent; and a people are to be prepared to stand before Him at His coming, "without spot, and blameless." 2 Peter 3:14. At this time the special endowment of divine grace and power is not less needful to the church than in apostolic days.

In visions of the night, representations passed before me of a great reformatory movement among God's people. Many were praising God. The sick were healed, and other miracles were wrought. A spirit of intercession was seen, even as was manifested before the great Day of Pentecost. Hundreds and thousands were seen visiting families and opening before them the word of God. Hearts were convicted by the power of the Holy Spirit, and a spirit of genuine conversion was manifest. On every side doors were thrown open to the proclamation of the truth. The world seemed to be lightened with the heavenly influence.

There is to be in the churches a wonderful manifestation of the power of God, but it will not move upon those who have not humbled themselves before the Lord, and opened the door of the heart by confession and repentance. In the manifestation of that power which lightens the earth with the glory of God, they will see only something which in their blindness they think dangerous, something which will arouse their fears, and they will brace themselves to resist it. Because the Lord does not work according to their ideas and expectations, they will oppose the work. "Why," they say, "should not we know the Spirit of God, when we have been in the work so many years?"  »For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.«(GC foreword – E.G.W.; 9T 126; RH extra 23 December 1890; Isaiah 55, 8.9.)

»BEHOLD, I AM COMING QUICKLY...«

Who is this who comes from Edom,
with dyed garments from Bozrah,
this One who is glorious in His apparel,
traveling in the greatness of His strength?
I who speak in righteousness,
mighty to save.
Why is Your apparel red,
and Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?
I have trodden the winepress alone,
and from the peoples no one was with Me.
For I have trodden them in My anger,
and trampled them in My fury;
their blood is sprinkled upon My garments,
and I have stained all My robes.
For the day of vengeance is in My heart,
and the year of My redeemed has come.

                                                                          Isaiah  63, 1-4

Before He crowned His earthly service with the glorious entrance to Jerusalem, Jesus wept, to the great surprise of His disciples, and the words sounded from His pale lips with a tremour of unspeakable pain: »If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. For the days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, and level you, and your children within you, to the ground, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you do not know the time of your visitation. (Luke 19,42-44)

Today, when our Saviour finishes His mediating and the service of the High Priest in The Most Holy Place at the very end of the time of mercy, and when all the signs show that we live in the time when the desire of all centuries will be finally fulfilled, from the Saviour's lips the same sigh comes: »If you had known in this your day...« How to express the unexpressable, how to describe the undescribible? Can the eternity be limited by time and can the endless God's love be expressed with words?

At the time of Christ's birth the leaders of the Israel people announced with pride the time when the long longed for Saviour will appear like a King of kings and the Israels themselves be lifted above all other people. The prophecies that pointed towards the self-denial and sacrifice of the holy Son of God were neglected. Today, before the second coming of the Saviour of the world, the history repeats itself: Unconsecrated preachers raise God’s love and mercy while the lulled people enjoy their sins, forgetting about justice and the God’s judgement. »Truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.« (Isaiah 59, 14.)

The God's messanger has written: »I was shown how important it is that the ministers who engage in the solemn, responsible work of proclaiming the third angel's message be right. The Lord is not straitened for means or instruments with which to do His own work. He can speak at any time, by whom He will, and His word is powerful and will accomplish the thing whereunto it is sent. But if the truth has not sanctified, made pure and clean, the hands and heart of him who ministers in holy things, he is liable to speak according to his own imperfect experience; and when he speaks of himself, according to the decisions of his own unsanctified judgment, his counsel is not then of God, but of himself. As he that is called of God is called to be holy, so he that is approved and set apart of men must give evidence of his holy calling and show forth in his heavenly conversation and conduct that he is faithful to Him who hath called him. There are fearful woes for those who preach the truth, but are not sanctified by it, and also for those who consent to receive and maintain the unsanctified to minister to them in word and doctrine.« (1.T 261)

»In every generation God has sent His servants to rebuke sin, both in the world and in the church. But the people desire smooth things spoken to them, and the pure, unvarnished truth is not acceptable. Many reformers, in entering upon their work, determined to exercise great prudence in attacking the sins of the church and the nation. They hoped, by the example of a pure Christian life, to lead the people back to the doctrines of the Bible. But the Spirit of God came upon them as it came upon Elijah, moving him to rebuke the sins of a wicked king and an apostate people; they could not refrain from preaching the plain utterances of the Bible doctrines which they had been reluctant to present. They were impelled to zealously declare the truth and the danger which threatened souls. The words which the Lord gave them they uttered, fearless of consequences, and the people were compelled to hear the warning.« (GC 606)

The God's anger is big and just while it lays upon the church because of the shameful sins that are being done every day by those who had taken upon themselves the holy name of Christ. A widely known secret is that even such heavy sins like lust, adultery, deceit, and lie are normal in the lives of most of us, but still nothing is being done to purify the Church of the insolent breakers of the holy God's law. Jesus is insulted. The measure of His patience has been reached and soon many will realise how terrible it is to fall into the hands of the living God.

Brethren and sisters, I am speaking to you in the name of Jesus Christ, in the name of Him whose face I have seen in The Most Holy Place: do not contempt and do not abuse the God's mercy, but repent your sins. Let us throw away the mask of false godliness and let Jesus to revive our hearts with His tender and Holy Spirit. Let us view our real state, confess to ourselves and the others, but first of all to Him – that we do not know Him and that we were merely listeners all those years, but not those who lived according to God's word.
Brethren and sisters, this is a call to get to know Him, with the true faith to approach in prayer our God and Saviour with the assurance that He will hear and fulfil every prayer that comes from a sincere heart. Let us get to know Jesus, let us allow Him to unveil all the warmth of His divine love and present peace to our heart – peace which transcends all understanding. Jesus is our good God, who is always by our side and eagerly waits for us to uncover our heart and experience His kindness and mercy. Those who shall walk the eternal fields of the new land are those who already walk with Jesus today, rejecting from them all the dirt of this corrupt world, aware that only He can change them and give them a new heart – a heart that shall beat in the tact of the eternal God's love. Therefore, »if you hear His voice today, do not harden your hearts«, listen to the God's word and you shall be alive.

If you do not obey Me,
and do not observe all these commandments,
and if you despise My statutes,
or if your soul abhors My judgments,
so that you do not perform all My commandments,
but break My covenant,
I also will do this to you:
I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever
which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart.
And you shall sow your seed in vain,
for your enemies shall eat it.
I will set My face against you,
and you shall be defated by your enemies.
Those who hate you shall reign over you,
and you shall flee when no one pursues you...

                                                                            Leviticus 26, 14-17

»FEAR GOD AND GIVE GLORY TO HIM...«

Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters
and you who have no money, come, buy and eat.
Yes, come, buy wine and milk
without money and without price.
Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
and your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen diligentlly to Me, and eat what is good,
and let your soul delight itself in abundance.
Incline your ear, and come to Me.
Hear, and your soul shall live;
and I will make an everlasting covenant with you
the sure mercies of David.

                                                                        Isaiah 55,1-3

The biggest need of the world – a doctrine of  justifying by the faith in the sacrifice of our  Saviour – represents the base of the three angels' messages, which shall be revealed as the last warning to the rebbelious world. The ignorance and rejection of this vital doctrine is the main cause of the spiritual slackness and formalism which have governed the Church and made it almost totally useless and unprepaired for the work that is certain to be done. Lord says: »I counsel you to buy... white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed.« (Rev. 3,18)

With this message God has shown the real state of the remnant of the people, pointing to it to the need of the justifying by the faith in the Christ's sacrifice of reconcilliation. The act of the justyfing itself was shown like a purchase, when a man like a buyer invests his faith in order to get salvation in return. »Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the water and you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.« Shopping without money is the best representation of a human's part in the plan of salvation. All one could and should do is to seek forgiveness for his sins from God and get the promised present by his faith. »For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemtion that is in Christ Jesus. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.« (Romans 6,23; 3,23-25; 10,9.10.)

The understanding of the doctrine about justification by faith is a basis of every real awakening, and we should accept it in order to prepare a way to the latter rain, because only He can make us ready to complete the work and become worthy of living in the God's holy presence. It is important that we understand that only those will be saved, who truly keep up to the God's commandments, those who have met the living Saviour, Jesus Christ, by living the life of every day’s giving themselves to Him moment after moment. So, the remnant make only those who are ready to confess and reject every sin, demanding from Jesus to alter them by the uninterrupted pouring of His creative power, which will help them perfect their character, to »the measure of the stature of the fullnes of Christ.« (Ephesians 4,13) »Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. For by grace you have been saved through faith, as it is written, the just shall live by faith.« (Romans 11,5; Ephesians 2,8; Romans 1,17)

»AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS AFTERWARD THAT I WILL
POUR OUT MY SPIRIT...«

Come , and let us return to the Lord,
for He has torn, but He will heal us,
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
After two days He will revive us,
on the third day He will raise us up,
that we may live in His sight.
Let us know, let us pursue
the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established as the morning,
He will come to us like the rain,
like the latter and former rain to the earth.

                                                                            Hosea 6, 1-3

In this moment, the most solemn in human history, on the eve of the Saviour's coming, there must happen a thorough reformation among us so as to be worthy of standing in front of the holy face of the almighty God. Therefore God speaks thus: »The revival of the true religiousness among us is our biggest and most urgent need. Our first task should be to work on that. We should seriously strive to get the God's blessings, not because God is not prepared to pour them onto us, but because we are not ready to take them. Our task is to fulfil the conditions that God had ascribed in order to give us the promised blessing, to fulfill them with our work, confessing our sins, with humbleness, repentment, and serious prayer. We may expect awakening only as an answer to our prayers«.
Before the final visitation of God's judgments upon the earth there will be among the people of the Lord such a revival of primitive godliness as has not been witnessed since apostolic times. The Spirit and power of God will be poured out upon His children.

The descent of the Holy Spirit upon the church is looked forward to as in the future; but it is the privilege of the church to have it now.« (1.SM-1887; GC 464-1911; RH  19.03.- 1895.)

In this time, which precedes accomplishing of the reform that soon will happen in the midst of the God's people, the most important place belongs to understanding of the conditions for accepting the latter rain, as well as understanding of the way and reason of its function. The basic effect of the latter rain is the perfection of character, but it can and may also be expressed in a form of a special power that sanctifies and converts human hearts during the announcement of the gospel. More fruits of his activity are the spiritual gifts, which will enable the church to accomplish its task on the earth. It is important to know also that those three ways of expressing of the latter rain do not have to exist at one time, because the second two may appear later, when the God's providence appoints a moment for. Exactly this way of their appearance represents my experience of today. The latter rain that I have received the last November has been expressed in my life up till now as a converting power, with occasional appearance of His testimonial activity during the proclamation of the open testimony to the church and individuals, but it has been shown to me that the time is close when my service will be confirmed by the rest of the presents of the Holy Spirit, which are neccessary to accomplish either the work of the reform, or the work of announcing the last warning to the world by the awakened and reformed church.

In order to complete the understanding of the conditions of accepting the latter rain a deeper understanding is neccessary of the Spirit of prophecy's saying that the church will accept the latter rain when its biggest part will cooperate with God. In order that the biggest part of the church establishes cooperation with God first the awakening has to happen. From the scripts of the Spirit of prophecy we realize that the awakening and reform will happen when the church accepts the »straight testimony« of the True Witness, which will also bring the big shaking among us. Only so awakened and shaken church will have the neccessary majority Ellen White speaks about. I believe that everyone will understand the need of possessing the power of the latter rain during revealing the »straight testimony« by the people who already are anointed for that work. Experiences of Enoch, Elijah, John the Baptist, as well as the baptisizing of Jesus Christ Himself by the Holy Spirit show that individuals may accept the latter rain aswell.

The experience of Apostolic church shows also that the »power from above« accept firstly individuals or smaller groups of people whose work brings first the awakening, and than the baptising by the Spirit of those who are deigned. A certain number of our theologists think that on the Pentecost day a hundred and twenty people have accepted the present promised. But in the careful investigation of the first chapters of »The Acts of the Apostles« it might be realised that only apostles accepted the Holy Spirit and that they prayed later, during the baptising of the new followers, for it to pour onto the newly baptised. That is clear from the following texts: Acts 2,1.14.37.38. 43.; 4,33; 5,40; 6,2.6.; 8,14-17.38.39.

The work of awakening and reform, which had started with the work of John the Baptist, and then completed with the testimony of the apostolic church, is the model of the reform which will be carried out today among our church. God calls the Adventist people to awaken the real godliness and baptize again with water, but also to baptize with the Holy Spirit, which will be given to us for the accomplishment of the God's holy cause. Brethren and sisters, let us study the »Acts of Apostles« in order to understand what God expects from us. »And we are the witnesses to these things, and also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him... Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God; for He has given you the former rain faithfully, and the letter rain in the first month. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God and there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.« (Acts 5,32; Joel 2,23.27.)

»GO THEREFORE AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL THE NATIONS...«

»Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth - to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people saying with a loud voice, "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.

And another angel followed, saying, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb... And they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.« (Revelation 14,6–12.)

The prophet has written, led by divine inspiration: »... for two thousand three hundred days; than the sanctuary shall be cleansed.« (Daniel 8,14.) The beginning of the investigative judgement – the event in which the Daniel's prophecy found its fulfilment  in 1844 – marked at the same time the beginning of the High Priest's service of our Saviour in The Most Holy Place: »For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, how to appear in the presence of God for us, because He poured out His soul unto death...and made intercession for the transgressors. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.« (Hebrews 9, 24; Isaiah 53,12; 1. John 2,2.)

The truth about the sanctuary and work of the investigative judgement, that is coming to the inevitable end, together with the second and third angel's message, represents the basis of the last message, which will reveal itself in the power of the latter rain to every generation, tribe, and people. But before the revealing of those three messages, the God's people will have to direct the look towards the Most Holy Place and discover the importance of the act of purification, which is being done by our Mediator and High Priest in the name of those, whose names are written down in »the Book of the Lamb's life«. It has been written that »the one, who wants to come to God, should believe that there is God and pay to those who are seeking for Him« (Hebrews 11,6.), but even this basic belief in God's existence fades away among those, who should be fully lighted by the mighty light of the truth about the heavenly sanctuary. My question to you, brother and sister, is: »Do you believe that there is God and that He pays to those, who are looking for Him? Can you believe that just your name is written on the holy pages of the »Book of life« and that only one unconfessed and unrejected sin will cost you the salvation, which Jesus had given to you by His unselfish sacrifice? Shall we, brothers and sisters, blaspheme further on our Saviour with our unfidelity and unworthiness, instead of giving ourselves to Him and letting Him to give glory His holy name in us? It is the last time for us to get out of the deep, deadly sleep in which we are stuck, and to go on with the biggest task that has ever been before the God's people, being armoured with all the God's weapons.

In the time when »the mother to the earthly whores and misdeeds« opiates nations with the false doctrine of the salvation by the deeds and praises Saint Mary like the one who mediates between the God and sinners, the Adventists of the Seventh day are being called to point out to the truth of the Holy Scripture, which clearly says that there is »one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus« and that »there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved«. (1. Timothy 2,5; Acts 4,12.) We should represent to all the Christian churches the true doctrine of the God's word. We must point out at the stability of the God's law, expressed through the ten holy commandments, as well as at the punishments, which will happen to those who refuse to obey those clear conditions.

Along with the appeal, which will be sent to all the so called Christian churches, an important place in this last work belongs to the warning against receiving the mark of the beast, which must be sent to every inhabitant of the earth. The Spirit of prophecy says: »The third angel's message has been sent forth to the world, warning men against receiving the mark of the beast or of his image in their foreheads or in their hands. To receive this mark means to come to the same decision as the beast has done, and to advocate the same ideas, in direct opposition to the word of God. Of all who receive this mark, God says, 'The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.'

Romanists declare that "the observance of Sunday by the Protestants is an homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of the [Catholic] Church." (Mgr. Segur,  Plain Talk About the Protestantism of Today,  page 213) The enforcement of Sundaykeeping on the part of Protestant churches is an enforcement of the worship of the papacy - of the beast. Those who, understanding the claims of the fourth commandment, choose to observe the false instead of the true Sabbath are thereby paying homage to that power by which alone it is commanded. But in the very act of enforcing a religious duty by secular power, the churches would themselves form an image to the beast; hence the enforcement of Sundaykeeping ... would be an enforcement of the worship of the beast and his image.

The two preceding messages are included in this one. It is pointed out in the Revelation that this message is being pronounced by »a loud voice« and it is followed by the power of the Holy Spirit. The message of the third angel should be regarded as the most important. It represents the question of life or death. The impression that the message will provoke at the listeners will be equal to the diligence and seriousness of its announcement.« (RH 13.07.1897; GC 448.449; MS 16, 1900.)

I received a night vision at the beginning of 2002, where it was shown to me the approaching of the time when the announcement of the three angels’ messages will turn into a loud shouting under the influence of  the latter rain. In the symbolic image I found myself on the very edge of an endless water surface, which was cut by the strong hands of a few swimmers. I had been aware of the fact that I was expected to dive without hesitation into the mass of water, which lay in front of me. At the moment I prepared to fulfill this obligation, the vision ended. By the undoubted testimony of the God's Spirit it was put to my knowledge that  »the water you saw are:  peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues.« (Revelation 17, 15). The God had shown to me by this image that the events, which will precede the loud shouting, will happen very quickly and that we are already in front of the very beginning of this solemn and elevated deed. I am obliged to repeatedly point out that the great speed of the events will take by surprise many and that there is no time for hesitation. If we really want salvation, today is the time to make the decision, the result of which will be the eternal life.

After receiving this announcement I was shown many times that it was necessary to point out the events that are going to happen during the time when the God's judgements will start pouring at the rebellious dwellers of the big cities, where the lawlessness has already achieved the measure of the God's patience.

In a night vision on 27 February 2002 I was shown the state of some cities, which will receive the power of the God's anger among the first ones. The attitude of the inhabitants of Los Angeles towards the message which will be sent to them was shown to me in the first vision. I saw that the evangelistic work will be almost rejected in this town and that it will be visited by the destroying God's judgements very soon. In another vision it was pointed out to me that a great work must be done in one of the most crowded cities in the world – New York. It was shown to me that a big number of workers must be sent there, for the evangelic harvest will be big there. We pray to the Lord of the harvest to send the workers to the fields so as to be sure that the warning news will come to those places on time, like to Nineveh in the past. At the end, it remains to me to say only that the warning of the Prophecy Spirit, with which I finished the previous part of the testimony, finds its true place just these last days at the end of the time of mercy.

»More and more, as the days go by, it is becoming apparent that God's judgments are in the world. In fire and flood and earthquake He is warning the inhabitants of this earth of His near approach. The time is nearing when the great crisis in the history of the world will have come, when every movement in the government of God will be watched with intense interest and inexpressible apprehension. In quick succession the judgments of God will follow one another - fire and flood and earthquake, with war and bloodshed.

God has always given men warning of coming judgments.

Number I - PREPARE TO MEET YOUR GOD, O ISRAEL

I Chapter
(The First Notebook, August 2001)

PREPARE TO MEET YOUR GOD, O ISRAEL

FOREWORD

Moved by the irrepressible might of the Holy Spirit, with a full confirmation of the need that those experiences and revelations become accessible to the God's people, I respond to the call of the One, who embedded a command into every part of my being: »Do write!«.

In the morning of 18th July 2001, while I was praying, the Spirit Almighty came upon me like never before and pressed into my mind the following command with the seal of His might. I utter those revelations by His will and in His name, because it was shown to me that there can not be and must not be any delay. What I must stress in the introduction of these testimonies – since I received such a command – is the fact that the proclamation of these revelations and, at the same time, the God's ultimate appeal to awakening and reformation of all our churches, from the General Conference to the smallest church in the world.

I was shown that we are at the very end of this civilization's history and that saint and eternal God SHALL NOT POSTPONE HIS ARRIVAL ANY MORE. I wish and must point out that the life of everyone of us will depend on the response to the God's appeal, because there will be no more time left for preparations.

»Like the tidings of the Saviour's birth, the message of the Second Advent was not committed to the religious leaders of the people. They had failed to preserve their connection with God, and had refused light from heaven; therefore they were not of the number described by the apostle Paul: »But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are neither of the night nor of darkness.« 1. Thessalonians  5,4.5

The watchmen upon the walls of Zion should have been the first to catch the tidings of the Saviour's advent, the first to lift their voices to proclaim Him near, the first to warn the people to prepare for His coming. But they were at ease, dreaming of peace and safety, while the people were asleep in their sins. Jesus saw His church, like the barren fig tree, covered with pretentious leaves, yet destitute of precious fruit. There was a boastful observance of the forms of religion, while the spirit of true humility, penitence, and faith which alone could render the service acceptable to God was lacking. Instead of the graces of the Spirit there were manifested pride, formalism, vainglory, selfishness, oppression. A backsliding church closed their eyes to the signs of the times..«  (GC 315. 316.)

»AND YOU WILL SEEK ME, AND FIND ME...«

I waited patiently for the Lord,
and He inclined to me,
and heard my cry.
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
out of the miry clay,
and set my feet upon a rock,
and established my steps.
He has put a new song in my mouth,
praise to our God.

                                                           Psalms 40,1-3

It happened at the end of 1998, when I finally got an answer to the question, I used to ask myself in vain for almost 26 years: why? Why shall I have to disappear one day, why that what I love so much is going to vanish one day, and why nobody consults me about it? Whenever I had thought of that my heart filled with fear, but I often consoled myself with the knowledge, that sprang out of the depths of my soul and told me that the answer will arrive one day indeed.

That same year, as an introduction into what I am going to describe, I happened to go through the death of perhaps the only person I used to feel a real and spontaneous love. My mother died suddenly and silently, taking with her a part of me too.

In a cold November night I was awoke by silent, unsteady steps of a man who stopped at my door. Every step of his made me realize more and more that it is late at night and that she had to be back a long time ago. When my brother entered, he uttered only one word – no more was needed. Everything was understood: she was gone. As never before the same question echoed through my mind: why?

Less than two months afterwards, like an answer to my cry, I held a book in my hands. It was a »Great Contraversy between Christ and Satan«. When the last page had been turned, a new love got born in my heart, a love towards the One who waited patiently during all the years of my life for the moment when I shall be ready to receive that what I was seeking. »For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks find, and to him who knocks it will be opened.« (Matthew 7,8)

O, what a joy I had felt when I realised that there is a meaning indeed, that even death has its end, and that the day is close when it will not exist any more. For »the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only TRUE God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.« (Romans 6,23; John 3.16; 17,3.)  Since that moment my life has changed and every new day brought to me the stronger wish to get to know the One who had created me and had given Himself for me on the Golgotha’s cross.

I got a wish to have a copy of the Holy Bible, so in February 1999 I went to the Adventist library here, in Belgrade, where I got two wonderful books as a present, thanks to God's providence. One of them was »Steps to Christ«. The same day, after I came back from a theological lecture, I started reading. While I read, I could feel mild, nourishing power in every word, which sounded as if they were meant for me. My heart was filling with the warmth of God's love, that Holy Spirit brought into my heart, breaking every resistance of my sinful nature with the awareness that there was Somebody who loves me unconditionally, Somebody who died so that I could live. Yes, my sins caused suffering and brought death to Him who is the spring of life and eternal love. Pain stroke my heart as like an arrow in flame. I set and bent my head down in the manner that we were thought on that lecture, while tears went out of my eyes.  »...For he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.« (Hebrews 11,6) Then I said my first prayer: »God«, I said, »forgive me, please, everything I did in my life, all my sins and bad doings«. While I thanked to God for His forgiveness, the Holy Spirit overcame all my being and filled me with a divine peace, with the peace that only He can give.

Two days later I took part in a sacred churching service to our Heavenly Lord for the first time in my life. At the very entrance to the church’s hall I gathered with one glance everything that was going on there and I discovered a fact that fills me even now, when I am writing these words, with the feeling of joy, but also sadness. I realised two things then: this is the real church, this is the house of the living God, but those people do not know Him. Seventy days later, on 8th May 1999, I made covenant to God on the sacrifice of our Saviour Jesus Christ, and my name has found its place in the heavenly books.

By the plan of His God’s providence, only several days since my covenant to Him, in the night between 16th and 17th May, God visited me with His Word, appearing to me in my dream. In a short conversation I was told what to do, so that the next day already I had an opportunity to execute the task, of which I shall not write now, because there is no need for that in this moment. The reason that I have described this event is the real understanding of the nature of the service to which I was drawn, and which I realised only later, when the Holy Spirit led me in the studying of His Holy Word and showed me the text from Numbers 12,6: »If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision, and I speak to him in a dream.«

I may say today that I am sorry that I did not write down the time when Heaven honoured me with the first vision, because than I did not have as yet the real understanding of the value of what had been presented to me. What I know for sure is that the vision I am going to describe I accepted shortly after baptism, sometime between May and July.

That day, after I went out from work, I set for a while to rest. While I was sitting and thinking of the events that marked the day, my eyes suddenly stopped and I saw: the One and eternal God, Jesus Christ, stood in the most holy place, while His right arm lay on a big book that stood on a stand in front of Him. It was the »Book of life« in which Jesus Himself with His own hand writes down the names of us, who baptised in His name. Although He had stood with His back towards me, His appearing made me believe that every part of His being was watching me. In a moment Jesus turned towards me, while on His face spread unbelievably mild smile which seemed to tell me: »Do not fear, because I AM with you«. Like without breath I watched the subdued glory of the Almighty, while all my being was filled with irresistible tide of His eternal and nourishing love, the love that might be given to us only by Him who has created us. While I watched this scene like bewitched, I was almost unconscious of the divine, mild music, which sounds were interwoven with a joyful angels’ song, that in thanking ascended toward the One who is the Way, Truth and Life.

Today, while the pages of the past turn in front of my eyes, bringing me back the memories of this event, and while I am trying to describe that which is not possible to describe in all the words of this world, I can not help not to say: »What is a man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?« Oh, if only people once directed their look upward towards Golgotha to get lighted by the eternal glory of the God's sanctuary, those words would not be written today, nor would be any more tears or cries... The words: »He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still«, would have already been pronounced, and the joyful song of the redeemed would echo through the streets of the heavenly Jerusalem. Instead of this, sin still governs this world, which is covered with the darkness of atheism, and Jesus still knocks on the heart's doors of those who are called by His name.

»Heavenly angels are still working in co-operation with human agencies. The Holy Spirit is presenting every inducement to constrain you to come. Christ is watching for some sign that will betoken the removing of the bolts and the opening of the door of your heart for His entrance. Angels are waiting to bear the tidings to heaven that another lost sinner has been found. The hosts of heaven are waiting, ready to strike their harps and to sing a song of rejoicing that another soul has accepted the invitation to the gospel feast.« (COL 237)
Will you accept this call, God's people? Will you open your heart to let enter the One who has given Himself for you, the One who loves you »with an everlasting love and draw you with loving-kindness«?
Oh, that My people would listen to Me,
that Israel would walk in My ways!
I would soon subdue their enemies,
and turn My hand against their adversaries.
The haters at the Lord would pretend submission to Him,
but their fate would endure forever;
He would have fed them also with the finest of wheat,
and with honey from the rock I would have satisfied you.

                                                    Psalms 81,13-16

»TO THE LAW AND TO THE TESTIMONY...«

Through all centuries, from the becoming of the world up to today this rule was the only criterion which served the heaven to try loyalty of the members of its people and the only criterion which the eternal Judge used in order to judge His people now, when the doing of the investigative court in the most holy place is being finished. Jesus Christ Himself has said: »Do not think that I come to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfil. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one title will by no means pass from the Law till all is fulfilled.« (Matthew 5,17.18.)

The truth, that the law and testimony are the only true mark of His people God also reveals to us by the description of His last church, which is found in the twelfth chapter of »Revelation«, where it says: »And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.« (Revelation 12,17.)

In this chapter, which is now historical, the saint God's Word notes the sad experience of the Christian church during the dark ages of the pope's Roman Catholicism, which lasted for 1260 years, when it had its most difficult days up till now. With the fall of popery in 1798, when the prophecies from the book of the prophet Daniel 7,24-26 and Revelation 13,3 were fulfilled, the period mentioned above had started, when – as the prophesy says – the remnant of the God's people would appear, who respects His command and holds the »testimony of Jesus Christ«. Time has shown that the Seventh Day Adventists church with full right is being called the rest of the God's people because it accepted all Ten Commandments together with Sabbath, which is the characteristic of the undisputed God's authority, and because of the gift of prophecy, which found its expression in the life of Ellen G. White.

It was shown to me that of the right understanding of the text from Revelation 12,17 would depend salvation of the many of us, who did not lighten their hearts with truth and thus allowed different prejudices to cover this subject with a veil of darkness and misinterpretations. It is true that the notion »the remnant« is applied to the whole church of Seventh Day Adventists, but it is important to understand that only those will be saved who really adhere to the God's commandments, those who came to know the living Saviour Jesus Christ, who every day live giving themselves to Him from moment to moment. The remnant, therefore, make only those who are ready to submit and reject any sin, REQUESTING FROM JESUS TO CHANGE THEM by the continuous flow of His creative power, which shall bring them to the perfection of their character - to » the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.« (Ephesians 4,13) »Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. For by grace you have been save through faith; as it is written: the just shall live by faith«  (Romans 11,5; Ephesians 2,8; Romans 1,17.)

The adherence to all God's commandments, the acceptance of the Spirit of prophecy, which the God's word calls »the testimony of Jesus« (Revelation 19,10.), appears to be the necessary condition for salvation, hence it is written that »there is no light« for those who reject it.« (Isaiah 8,20 ).

»The last big deception of Satan will be his attempt to annul the influence of the testimony of the God's Spirit. 'Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint.' (Proverbs 29,18) The Satan will work cleverly, in different ways and with different tools to undermine the trusting of the remnant of God's people in the real Testimony.«  (1 SM page 48 – 1890.)

The record of the whole history of Church on the pages of the saint Old and New Testament shows undoubtedly that the gift of the Spirit of prophecy had been almost always inseparable companion of the God's people, that God used to investigate and guide His people with a firm hand, guarding it against going completely astray. »By a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was preserved.« (Hosea 12,14.) In the God's divine plan the exodus of the Israel people from Egypt is a symbol of the last exodus of His people from contemporary world order, and as physical Israel had been guided by the Prophecy Spirit, so spiritual Israel would be guided on his way to the heavenly Canaan. The God's word says about the last days: »And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.« (Joel 2,28)

Like a living witness of this prophecy and like the one in whom they found their ultimate application, I write down those experiences by God’s will, being conscious of the value of every written word, since it had been shown to me clearly that this writing shall be translated and sent to the many as a testimony. This announcement, as one of the last ones in the row, came that morning when the divine inspiration led me into writing.

»AND TO THE ANGEL OF THE CHURCH OF THE LAODICEANS WRITE...«

»For the lips of a PRIEST should keep knowledge, and people should seek the Law from his mouth; FOR HE IS A MESSENGER# of the Lord of hosts.« (Malachi 2,7)

Hence Lord speaks in this way: »When you brought in foreigners uncircumcised in heart... and you have not kept charge of My holy things, but you set OTHERS# to keep charge of My sanctuary for you..., therefore the Lord said: Inasmuch as these people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men. Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work among this people, a marvelous work and a wonder, for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden. Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord, and their works are in the dark; they say 'Who sees us?' and, 'Who knows us?'. For the Lord will rise up as at Mount Perazim, He will be angry as in the Valley of Gibeon that He may do His work, His awesome work, and bring to pass His act, His unusual act. Now therefore, do not be mockers, lest your bonds be made strong, for I have heard form the Lord of hosts, a destruction determined even upon to whole earth. Give ear and hear my voice, listen and hear my speech.« (Ezekiel  44,7-8; Isaiah 29,13-15; 28,21-23)

The fear that fills my heart is unspeakable, while I see in the revelation of the Holy Spirit the might of God's anger that lays on the Church because of the terrible sins that we commit among each other. It was shown to me that a special amount of God's anger is directed towards the steps of our leading brethren. The Lord said: »Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord, and their works are in the dark; they said: 'Who sees us?' and, 'Who knows us?'« Oh, if only you were aware of the look of the One whose eye nothing escapes while the holy heavenly angels take careful note of every hidden thought of the heart! The time is close when many of you, who had been lighted by the great light, which influence you did not subdue, not listening to the voice of God, who turned to you day by day, you will be stricken by the punishments deserved for all the evil doings and misdeeds which you have done. Your responsibility for many lost souls, for the whole generations that vanished from the face of the Earth and went to eternal destruction without any hope. Do read the following words: »Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in his hand. Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity. Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. So they began with the elders who were before the temple.« ( Ezekiel 9,1.5.6.)

Do you believe in these words, dear brethren?  Can you believe that those are the words of the living God and that He will rise to give everyone according to his doings?  A great rebuke is upon you, who managed the God's work up till now, and there are many questions to which you shall have to answer before the saint heavenly court, if you do not humiliate in a total and sincere repentance. It was shown to me that the holy cause of the reformation, that you were to do, was taken away from you because you could not value the advantages and blessings, which had been given to you plentifully, but the God's caring hands are still outstretched to save those who want to be saved. »Those who place themselves under God's control, to be led and guided by Him, will catch the steady tread of the events ordained by Him to take place. Inspired with the Spirit of Him who gave His life for the life of the world, they will no longer stand still in impotency, pointing to what they cannot do. Putting on the armour of heaven, they will go forth to the warfare, willing to do and dare for God, knowing that His omnipotence will supply their need.« (7T 14)

»HE WHO HAS AN EAR, LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAYS TO
THE CHURCHES...«

In these last days, when the work of preaching the three angels’ messages should come to the long awaited for glorious culmination, the Creator of the earth and sky calls to His own people to repent totally and sincerely and to return to their primal godliness, so as to be worthy of standing before His holy face when He soon comes in all His glory. Hence the Lord speaks thus: »The message to the church of the Laodiceans is a startling denunciation, and is applicable to the people of God at the present time. And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write: These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that you art neither cold nor hot: I could wish you were cold or hot. So then because you art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth. Because thou say: I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing; and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.' (Revelation 3,14)

The Lord here shows us that the message to be borne to His people by ministers whom He has called to warn the people is not a peace-and-safety message. IT IS NOT MERELY THEORETICAL, BUT PRACTICAL in every particular. The people of God are represented in the message to the Laodiceans as in a position of carnal security. They are at ease, believing themselves to be in an exalted condition of spiritual attainments. "Because you say: I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing; and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.' What greater deception can come upon human minds than a confidence that they are right when they are all wrong!

The message of the True Witness finds the people of God in a sad deception, yet honest in that deception. They know not that their condition is deplorable in the sight of God. While those addressed are flattering themselves that they are in an exalted spiritual condition, the message of the True Witness breaks their security by the startling denunciation of their true condition of spiritual blindness, poverty, and wretchedness.

I was shown that many are flattering themselves that they are good Christians, who HAVE NOT A RAY OF LIGHT from Jesus. They have not a LIVING EXPERIENCE for themselves in the divine life. They need a deep and thorough work of self-abasement before God before they will feel their true need of earnest, persevering effort to secure the precious graces of the Spirit. God leads His people on step by step. The Christian life is a constant battle and a march. There is no rest from the warfare. It is by constant, unceasing effort that we maintain the victory over the temptations of Satan. As a people we are triumphing in the clearness and strength of the truth. We are fully sustained in our positions by an overwhelming amount of plain Scriptural testimony. But we are very much wanting in Bible humility, patience, faith, love, self-denial, watchfulness, and the spirit of sacrifice. We need to cultivate Bible holiness.

Sin prevails among the people of God. The plain message of rebuke to the Laodiceans is not received. Many cling to their doubts and their darling sins while they are in so great a deception as to talk and feel that they are in need of nothing. They think the testimony of the Spirit of God in reproof is uncalled for or that it does not mean them. Such are in the greatest need of the grace of God and spiritual discernment that they may discover their deficiency in spiritual knowledge. They lack almost every qualification necessary to perfect Christian character. They have not a practical knowledge of Bible truth, which leads to lowliness of life and a conformity of their will to the will of Christ. They are not living in obedience to all God's requirements.« (3 T 252 – 254)

The message of the True Witness, which is directed first of all towards the leaders in all the branches of the God's work today, not the less applies to the whole God's people, who sink deeply in treachery and sin. The holy principles of the God's law, that are being broken all the time by those who declare it only with their mouths, while in their hearts they are far away from Him, will be defended very quickly when the cup of His just anger fills over the brim and will poor onto the hearts that did not repent and subdue.

Do you believe in those words, brethren and sisters? Will you and can you believe that here comes the time of such a trouble as have not existed since the beginning of the world, and that the last days of the time of mercy are passing by? ALL THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS ARE STANDING BEFORE THEIR ULTIMATE DECISION, the decision on which the earthly, but also the eternal life will depend.  »For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God!« (1. Peter 4,17) It is very important that we should remember that this appeal, which Jesus Himself has sent to us by His holy Word, is the last call for a reform which has ever been turned towards the God's people and that its acceptance or rejection will also mean a big shaking among our members. It is up to us to decide whether we shall serve the One who gave His life so that we could live, or we shall stay in our sins, lost for the eternity. The Lord appeals to His people to start a radical reformation, which will prepare our hearts for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in a power of a late rain, when the God’s work will finally be done. »In a special sense Seventh-day Adventists have been set in the world as watchmen and light bearers. To them has been entrusted the last warning for a perishing world. On them is shining wonderful light from the word of God. They have been given a work of the most solemn import--the proclamation of the first, second, and third angels' messages. There is no other work of so great importance. They are to allow nothing else to absorb their attention. The most solemn truths ever entrusted to mortals have been given us to proclaim to the world. The proclamation of these truths is to be our work. The world is to be warned, and God's people are to be true to the trust committed to them.

God cannot forbear much longer. Already His judgments are beginning to fall on some places, and soon His signal displeasure will be felt in other places. There will be a series of events revealing that God is master of the situation. The truth will be proclaimed in clear, unmistakable language. The message that means so much to the dwellers upon the earth will be heard and understood. Men will know what is truth. Onward and still onward the work will advance until the whole earth shall have been warned, and then shall the end come.«  (9T 19.96.97.)

At the end of April this year during a night vision I was shown one of the last events in the process of preaching the three angels’ messages that is in front of us. In the vision I was in a big room that had been filled with tv cameras while all the present carefully listened to what I was saying. The Holy Spirit came upon me in the power of the late rain, giving the strength to the messages of the three angels, which I forwarded to a big number of people, who watched the transmission of this event by satellite. It was shown to me in the vision that only in that occasion almost three billion people will hear the message of warning. The great speed in which this work will be soon driven to its end will surprise many. The time of preparation for the arrival of our Saviour is slowly running out. Those will stay without salvation who continue to reject the appeals of God's mercy. »He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches...«

In quick succession the judgments of God will follow one another--fire and flood and earthquake, with war and bloodshed.

God has always given men warning of coming judgments.

Those who heed the warning will be saved..« (9T 97; DA 634)
